With over 20 years' experience, Merrell Anne Shearer is a seasoned real estate professional. As a lifelong Austinite, she has watched the city grow and change and loves the eclectic, world class city. She works with both buyers and sellers and enjoys helping them whether searching for their forever home or an investment property.

Merrell Anne knows Austin! She moved to Austin at the age of 3 when her father took a teaching job at the University of Texas and has deep ties in the Austin community. As a second-generation Realtor®️, Merrell Anne approaches her practice with a deep understanding of the Austin market. She and her husband, Art, have raised 3 sons in Central Austin who attended both public and private schools.

She brings to the table her analytical skills, creativity in marketing, and a desire to fully serve her clients’ needs. She has built her practice on a commitment to communication and transparency. Merrell Anne enjoys working with a multicultural community and is fluent in Spanish, speaks Portuguese, and has a working knowledge of French. She is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin in Plan II with a focus on Spanish Literature. Prior to working as a Realtor®️, she held positions in the physical commodities industries (coffee, natural rubber, and chocolate), worked as an international sales representative for a plastics company, and as international representative on the economic development team at the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce.

Merrell Anne believes in serving her community and is currently an active volunteer and serves on the Board of Directors at Trinity Center (provides services to the homeless in downtown Austin). She has previously served on other community boards, various roles in the PTAs of her children’s schools, and is a past president of the Young Women’s Alliance. She is also an active member of the Austin Symphony League and is a sustaining member of the Junior League of Austin.
